Our curriculum provides breadth and depth and is supported by excellent teaching and learning, which ensures students are achieve their full academic potential both in the classroom and beyond. The curriculum is designed to ensure all students experience a broad, balanced and challenging academic education. All students follow a core programme of English, Maths, RE, Science, PE and PSHEE. In the Lower School students will also follow courses in Art, Drama, Emerging Technologies, Geography, History, Languages and Music. At KS4, in addition to the core curriculum, students’ select four additional subjects to be studied to GCSE level, two of which must be from facilitating subjects (Triple Science, French, Geography, History, Italian or Spanish).
Opportunities for learning beyond the classroom are extensive
We have an extensive programme of extra-curricular activities that enriches student learning. This enables them to become lifelong learners in academia, the arts, drama, music or sport. We have an active Duke of Edinburgh group and we provide a wide variety of enrichment activities accessible to all our students including residential trips each year.
