Examination Information

Summer 2016 Certificates

All A-Level and GCSE certificates for examinations taken in 2016 are available for collection from the school reception between 08:00 and 16:00.  If pupils are sending someone to collect certificates on their behalf, that person must have the pupil's written permission for the certificates to be released.

Summer 2016 certificates will be archived in February Half Term, after which time you will need to follow the procedures below.

Please note that exam certificates cannot be posted and must be collected in person.

Certificates from previous years

Certificates from previous years' examinations (2010 - 2015) are now archived.  In order to collect them from school, please email exams@joa.herts.sch.uk with your name and year of leaving. A minimum of 48 hours notice is required. The certificates will then be available from reception between 08:00 and 16:00.

Lost Certificates

If you have lost your certificates you will need to contact the Exam Boards directly.  Details of which can be found on https://www.gov.uk/replacement-exam-certificate/who-to-contact . Please note replacements are not always possible, however all exam boards will send your results to Universities and employers (for a charge).
